During the client meeting, we thoroughly discuss the client company background, its organization and environment, employment needs and plans related to human resource.
Once the client decides to commission a particular search (or more) to ESS, we discuss together in detail the job description and the qualifications of the person they require. A meeting with the hiring manager is also encouraged to be able for us to understand the functional needs of the job and the chemistry required for both manager and the executive to be hired.
ESS pursues a preliminary search from the databank and related searches. We seek referrals from a variety of sources. A direct approach is utilized to locate and assess executives with qualifications closely matching the job profile. In-depth interviews are conducted to gain a thorough understanding of their achievements, capabilities and potential; evaluations are made to determine their strengths and weaknesses.
We then compare client expectation of the position with the individuals' capability to perform to those standards. We prepare a detailed report on the candidate's background and experience, and follow-up services are provided (negotiation with candidate, reference checks, etc). While the search is on going, we regularly inform the client of the developments of the search. An Account Service Manager who is closely familiar to the function and industry is assigned to manage the research, to directly approach and present short-listed potential candidates. Our directors who also act as managing consultants closely supervise the process.
